Job Requirements:

We are looking for a licensed Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team! As a Licensed CSR, you will play a role in assisting our existing team by promoting our independent market insurance carriers, our independent market carrier’s products and growing the business through new business sales, remarketing current client accounts, cross-selling current client accounts, and retention.

  • Must have an active Property and Casualty License (P&C)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 2-3 years of Independent Insurance experience, with knowledge of LA insurance market carriers
  • Ability to work well individually and with a team and understands agency’s SOP
  • Strong persuasion skills with the ability to “close a sale”
  • Have the ability to meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
  • Must be self motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to work with a sense of urgency
  • Has strong computer skills and is proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Works with In-House leads only – NO COLD CALLING
  • Have direct access to the top insurance carriers in our market
  • Can work the hours of 8:30 am–5:00 pm or 9:00 am-5:30 pm NOTE:Remote work potential

What will my day to day job description entail?

  • Quoting, remarketing, cross-selling in accordance with company standard operating procedures
  • Communicate and consistently follow upwith existing clients, prospects, mortgage lenders and realtors
  • Connecting with clients via phone, email and text
  • Actively engage with prospects and clients to understand their needs and present suitable solutions
  • Maintain accurate records for clients and have the ability to work in our database management system
  • Responsible for timely reaching out to existing clients to review their current insurance, offer recommendations, and ask for additional lines of business
  • Process client payments, invoice mortgage companies, and present evidence of insurance for client closings
  • Complete files that meet underwriting guidelines and company’s compliance required documentation
  • Accountable for daily reports which include: expirations, non-renewals, cancellations, underwriting issues and any other action item
  • Stay up to date on insurance industry trends, carrier product offerings, carrier guidelines as well as understand who our competitors are and what makes TWFG unique
  • Effectively communicate with the Branch Owner and Director of Sales on pressing items daily

Insurance – Account Manager Personal Lines

Job description

    • Remarket, Quote, Cross-sell requirements in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOP)
    • Communicate with current clients and prospects through appropriate mediums
    • Responsible for 92% retention of existing assigned clients by remarketing and cross selling according to agency SOP
    • Must have the ability to work effectively with an assigned CSR
    • Correspond with realtors, mortgage lenders and title companies in a timely manner for closings
    • Present evidence of insurance for loan closings, refinances etc. as well as payment instructions
    • Process payments and complete files for underwriting review and database requirements
    • Accountable for daily reporting including expirations, cancelations, and pending action items (Excel, customized reports from company database, etc.)
    • Ability to effectively work in our client database management program to keep client records up to date and compliant with company audit standards
    • Understand the organization’s overall goals and procedures

Effectively communicate with the Branch Owner and Director of Sales on pressing items daily

Requirements:

  • Must have a Property and Casualty Insurance License
  • Must have strong proven experience selling and writing all personal insurance with Commercial being a plus
  • 2+ years in an independent agency environment with knowledge of independent markets for personal lines
  • Ability to work individually and with a team and understands agency’s (SOPs)
  • Must possess the ability to work with a sense of urgency, enjoy friendly competition, and motivated to achieve financial incentives through cross-marketing and client retention
  • Must be able to work 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Must be proficient with MS Word and MS Excel and able to effectively communicate using MS Outlook

  • The candidate will have direct access to the top insurance carriers in our market as well as to our existing referrals.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range – $60k – $80k
  • Opportunity for high new and renewal commission
