JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist Account Manager with remarkets in accordance with company standard operating procedures
- Works well with assigned Personal Lines Account Manager on quoting, cross-marketing, and re-marketing existing clients for the main purpose of retention according to agency SOP
- Present evidence of insurance for loan closings, refinances, as well as payment instructions
- Process payments and complete files for underwriting review and database audit requirements
- Accountable for daily reporting including expirations, cancelations, and pending action items (Excel, customized reports from company database, etc.)
- Ability to effectively work in our client database management program to keep client records up to date
- Understand the organization’s overall goals and procedures
- Effectively communicate with the Branch Owner and Director of Sales on pressing items daily
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Property and Casualty Insurance License
- 2+ years in an independent agency setting and knowledge of independent markets for home and auto insurance
- Must be a free thinker, but understands agency’s (SOPs)
- Must possess the ability to work with a sense of urgency, enjoy friendly competition, and motivated to achieve financial incentives through cross-selling and client retention
- Must be able to work 9am – 5:00pm
- Must be proficient with MS Word and MS Excel and able to effectively communicate using MS Outlook
- EXPERIENCE AND LICENSE A MUST – No need to apply without these credentials.
- The candidate will have direct access to the top insurance carriers in our market as well as to our existing referrals.
Compensation:
- Salary Range – $35k-$55k

Insurance – Account Manager Personal Lines
Job description
- Remarket, Quote, Cross-sell requirements in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Communicate with current clients and prospects through appropriate mediums
- Responsible for 92% retention of existing assigned clients by remarketing and cross selling according to agency SOP
- Must have the ability to work effectively with an assigned CSR
- Correspond with realtors, mortgage lenders and title companies in a timely manner for closings
- Present evidence of insurance for loan closings, refinances etc. as well as payment instructions
- Process payments and complete files for underwriting review and database requirements
- Accountable for daily reporting including expirations, cancelations, and pending action items (Excel, customized reports from company database, etc.)
- Ability to effectively work in our client database management program to keep client records up to date and compliant with company audit standards
- Understand the organization’s overall goals and procedures
Effectively communicate with the Branch Owner and Director of Sales on pressing items daily
Requirements:

- Must have strong proven experience selling and writing all personal insurance with Commercial being a plus
- 2+ years in an independent agency environment with knowledge of independent markets for personal lines
- Ability to work individually and with a team and understands agency’s (SOPs)
- Must possess the ability to work with a sense of urgency, enjoy friendly competition, and motivated to achieve financial incentives through cross-marketing and client retention
- Must be able to work 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Must be proficient with MS Word and MS Excel and able to effectively communicate using MS Outlook
